Yes, we can do this. Please first check with the entity that requires the witnessing:
a. If they have specific requirements regarding the jurisdiction that the Solicitor is qualified in; and
b. If it is sufficient that the Solicitor is qualified in England & Wales or in Scotland.
Our Solicitor will:
a. Check your passport or Emirates ID (is current and valid and bears a true resemblance to you);
b. Take a photocopy of your ID;
c. Check your authority to sign;
d. Check you understand what you are signing;
e. Check your capacity to sign;
f. Witness you signing - do not sign in advance;
g. Sign as a witness and include the relevant/ required wording;
h. Take a copy of the witnessed document; and
i. Take payment.

Yes, we can do this. We need to see the original document and the exact copy. We can stamp the copy.
Yes, we can conduct the process using a video call.
a) The individual will send a clear, legible colour image of their passport/
Emirates ID, proof of address and a copy of the document in question, in advance;
b) A video call will be arranged;
c) Payment will be taken in advance;
d) During the call, the client will be asked to hold the passport/ Emirates ID to their face;
e) The Solicitor/ Notary Public will check:
(i) the digital copy matches the copy being shown on the call;
(ii) the likeness on the ID matches the individual; and
(iii) will capture the image of the client holding the passport/ Emirates ID;
f) The parties will ensure the document being signed by the client is the same as the one that the Notary Public has – this will be done by showing it to the screen, sharing screens or reading it aloud;
g) The client will be required to swear an oath;
h) The client will sign and share the signed version electronically;
i) The Notary Public will perform their duties electronically, noting on the document that it is a ‘copy’ and has been notarized by ‘video conference’; and
j) The final fully signed and notarized document will be shared electronically.
